Character: Teenage girl with dark hair that holds an icy blue streak. Eliza has muddy green eyes that often hold mischief. Unlike her best friends, Eliza keeps most of her feelings and worries to herself. She pushes a tough persona that keeps most people from getting too close to her. Eliza enjoys drawing and painting, and hates having visions (specifically the headaches they give her).

Eliza was one of three students who didn’t have any rare powers that were combat-worthy and had been banished to the back of the room while their classmates battled in pairs. Justin was doing his best not to electrocute Luke as Luke warped the floor beneath him. Next to them, Bailey and Kimba were duking it out with Weather Manipulation.
Kimba clearly had the upper hand. Any cloud, snow, or rain Bailey tried to hurl at Kimba, she merely redirected with giant gusts of wind. Bailey was growing agitated, her ears turning red as she tried everything she could to counter Kimba’s wind.
“Try a different angle,” Eliza muttered under her breath. “You’re being predictable.”
Bailey gave a small yelp as the flurry of snow she’d created came back at her.
Eliza glanced at Mrs. Strong and Miss Andromeda. Both of the teachers were watching Justin and Luke, making sure neither one got injured.
“You’ve got to switch up your strategy,” Eliza said through ESP.
Bailey’s head whipped in her direction. Kimba sent a gust of wind straight at her face.
Eliza raised an eyebrow at Bailey. “She’s toying with you because you’re not giving her much of a challenge. Attack her from a different angle.”
Bailey’s eyes glittered with determination. She turned back to Kimba, who was launching another stream of air at her. Bailey jumped to the side, letting the breeze pass her. She spread her hands and created a mini thunderstorm over Kimba. The storm rumbled angrily.
