Character: Better known as “The Capsburg Caper,” Lina’s first real job was doing vigilante work around the Ablete city to earn money for her family. Despite her illegal actions, Lina has a strong sense of right and wrong and a deep love for her family. When she’s not doing vigilante work in black leather, Lina prefers to wear skirts and pink shirts (which also helps her hide her identity). After the threat of Blackglycerin attacking her family, Lina relocated to Kendason, Texas, where she now interns at Clandest.

“Crap, where’s the bathroom?” Justin thought as he scanned the hallway. He rounded the corner and came face to face with someone coming in through the exit door. A sixteen-year-old Latina dressed in all black was giving him a wide-eye stare, as if she’d been caught skipping class.
“Um… do you know where the bathroom is?” Justin asked, giving a weak laugh.
She blinked. “Down the hall, on the left.”
“Right.” He nodded. “And do you have a ticket or…”
Her face hardened. An alarm sounded somewhere outside, causing her to glance over her shoulder.
“Okay, I’m going to take a wild guess,” Justin said, forming a force field between them, effectively blocking her exit. “You’re up to no good. A heathen, perhaps?”
“Let me out and I won’t give you any trouble,” she growled.
“See, that’s something a heathen would say.”
She kicked his shield. “Last chance.”
Justin’s heart pounded as he shook his head, bracing himself for her attack.
“Suit yourself.” The girl grit her teeth, her eyes glowing green.
“Laser vision,” Justin registered. He ducked as the beam hit his shield.
A sharp pain washed over his mind as his shield evaporated.
“Dude, not cool,” he complained, forming a portal behind each of them to cover the exits.
The girl snarled at the portals. “The hard way it is.”
“I can take whatever you throw at-”
She uppercut him square in the jaw.
