Character: Although a bit stand-offish, Michael Hunt cares deeply about doing what’s right and proving his own worth. Michael comes from a very well off family in Fallston, Maryland and his father, Sterling Hunt, works for the Ablete government there. Michael is not the best with people, but appreciaites feedback and enjoys being a part of the goings on at Capes.

Michael pressed the up button on the elevator and got on first, his finger poised over the button for the second floor. Justin joined him and they stood in awkward silence as Michael pressed the button and the elevator doors eased shut.

They couldn’t have been going upwards for more than a couple seconds before Michael hit the emergency stop button.

“What are you doing?” Justin asked uneasily.

“This is the only place I was sure we wouldn’t be overheard,” Michael said matter-of-factly. “I want to help you look for Blackglycerin.”

“What?” Justin tried to play dumb as his heart began to race.

“I overheard you and Simon talking,” Michael gave a stiff shrug. “I know you’re trying to stop him. I also saw Eliza sneaking around on the fourth floor so I’m guessing she’s also in on it. I want in.”

“Oh crap,” Justin’s mind raced for a work around. “Crap, he could blab about the investigation and give us away.”

“I have to talk to Eliza and Simon first,” he told Michael.

Michael nodded knowingly, pressing the emergency stop to get the elevator moving again. “Okay.”

“Do me a favor,” Justin said as the elevator continued upward. “Don’t mention the investigation to anyone.”

“Of course,” Michael scoffed. “I wouldn’t put us in danger.”

Justin ignored his use of ‘us.’
